RIRI

Connected Network Agreement

Effective October 6, 2026

Voluntary participation

The RI Connected Network lets eligible devices contribute selected resources to approved community tasks. Participation is optional. Each resource starts off, requires its own affirmative choice, and can be paused or withdrawn without ending your RI account.

Camera

Camera access is permitted only for a foreground feature you start. RI must show an active indicator and also obtain any operating-system permission. This permission does not authorize hidden, unattended, or background recording.

Storage

You choose a storage limit. RI may use only that allocated space for encrypted, isolated network data and required integrity metadata. RI may not browse unrelated files. You can remove contributed data through Settings, subject to a short deletion and integrity-verification period.

Processor and graphics compute

You choose a compute limit. When workload execution becomes available, RI may run only RI-signed, sandboxed task packages, within your limits, while the device meets the power, temperature, load, and network settings shown in RI. Compute will default to AC power and unmetered networking. This permission does not authorize arbitrary remote commands or unrestricted access to your computer.

Data, security, and activity records

RI records consent changes, resource settings, workload identifiers, timing, measured contribution, errors, and accounting needed to operate and secure the network. RI will not intentionally place unlawful content or untrusted executable code on a participating device. No technical system is risk-free, so RI may pause the network or a device to protect users and infrastructure.

Costs and rewards

Your device may use electricity, bandwidth, storage, and hardware life. Your internet or utility provider may charge you. Any reward rate, eligibility, tax treatment, and payout terms will be shown before paid contribution begins. Opting in now does not promise earnings and does not start compute execution.

Pause and withdrawal

The master pause stops new network activity. Withdrawing a resource permission stops new use of that resource. A task already being safely finalized may require a brief shutdown period. RI keeps required security, consent, and accounting records as described in the Privacy Policy.
